70 Series Land Cruisers were not imported into the US but saw use in Japan, Africa, Australia and Central/South America.  Driving a RHD is easily undertaken on US roadways and requires very little time to adjust.  Parts are readily available and many Toyota and Land Cruiser shops will eagerly work on these vehicles.

Originally finished in a two-tone scheme, the body was repainted its current shade of Lunar rock, a modern Toyota TRD Pro color, during restoration in Japan. An eclectic mirror is standard to the passenger-side fender, featuring window rain guards and additional features include headlamp washers, adjustable side mirrors, chrome bumpers, running boards, and a hitch receiver.

Aftermarket 15″ alloy wheels wear rear chrome caps, mounted with 33” x 10.5” Toyo MT tires, and a spare is affixed to the rear ambulance-style doors. The truck features electric locking front hubs and has been fitted with a lift kit with aftermarket shocks and springs.  The driver and passenger seat sit on an aftermarket shock absorbing seat suspension mount to cushion even more bumps from the trail.

The cargo area features third row seating, tie downs and rear windows that kick out for additional ventilation.

The 3.0-liter 1KZ-TE turbodiesel inline-four transfers power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission via a dual range transfer case.
